Yes! I am fully insured.

Holistic training means looking at the whole picture of you and your dog, not just a single behaviour.

Alongside practical training techniques, I consider your dog’s emotional state, nervous system, environment, breed instincts, and the energy and communication happening between you.

Because I work intuitively as well as technically, I also pay attention to subtle shifts in posture, expression, and energetic presence that can influence how a dog responds. When we support both the practical and the energetic sides of the partnership, training becomes clearer, calmer, and far more effective for both of you.

Where possible, I always recommend a programme rather than pay-as-you-go sessions. Programmes are tailored to each dog and consistently deliver better results because they provide the commitment, consistency, and structure that real training progress requires. They also allow you to ask questions, share videos, and receive guidance between sessions, with continued support even after the programme ends.

That is exactly what the PAYG sessions are for. While programmes tend to deliver the fastest and most consistent results, PAYG sessions can still create strong progress when they are approached with the right structure. My recommendation is to book the first three sessions relatively close together. This allows us to establish the foundations, prevent early mistakes, and build good habits from the start. After that, sessions can be spaced out to suit your schedule.

Yes. Ad hoc or PAYG sessions can work very well when you are looking to address one specific issue, or if you compete in dog sports and need help refining a particular part of your training.

Click on any of the ‘book’ buttons and you will be taken to my booking site where you can see my diary to enable you to book a session time/day to suit you, pay online and even fill out your forms online. Once you are booked in you will receive an email with directions and details of anything you might need to consider for your first session.

If you have completed a First Consult & Pathway Plan session, we will usually have a short conversation afterwards, either on the day or once you are home, to talk through the programme that will best support you and your gundog moving forward.
